After two successful tours of Green Lizard tribute to Nirvana it is now time to do a tribute to the nineties. So not only from the band Nirvana but also songs from Urban Dance Squad, Smashing Pumpkins & Alice In Chains. Especially Urban Dance Squad, as these songs are performed by the original singer of this legendary band.

 

Expect a set with really nothing but squatters. In short, this successful collaboration is being taken to an even higher level.

 

Green Lizard was founded in 1994 by the brothers Remi, Willy and Brian Tjon Ajong. In 1996 they won the Grand Prix of the Netherlands. In 2000 their album Identity was released which was produced by Cliff Norell known for Faith No More, Skunk Anansie,_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-138_cc18_bad5cf5. -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_Jeff Buckley en Sting.  With performances at Pinkpop 2000/2001, Lowlands, Sziget, winner of the golden calf and a silver harp. In short, an impressive resume for a Dutch band!

After a successful tribute to Nirvana and because of that overwhelming success, they will tour in 2018/2019 together with Rudeboy, Urban Dance Squad: Tribute to the Nineties.

Rudeboy was a rapper from Urban Dance Squad. The band was formed in December 1986 in Utrecht. After the band made a name for itself with energetic live performances, the well-received debut, Mental Floss for the Globe, was recorded in 1989, giving the band a Edison_cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_won. The band then worked on its live reputation at Pinkpop, the New York New Music Seminar, a US tour and a number of supporting acts for_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-536bad5Cfiving Colourfiving .

From 1997 to 2000 singer Rudeboy Remington also worked with Junkie XL. After the breakup of UDS, he started his own band, LXO, which was later renamed The League of XO Gentlemen .
